Bluefish: Marketplace Evaluation & Optimal Messaging

Challenge: Bluefish wanted to assess the viability of its new technology that linked with mobile phones, providing the devices with enhanced capabilities to act as a media/advertising display vehicle, for advertisers in high traffic areas like airports.

Objective: To evaluate the product’s marketplace potential and optimal communications messaging.

Solution: Plan-it conducted exploratory research among PDA/Mobile consumer user-groups, as well as potential business targets, including advertising agency Media Planners and Marketing Directors.

Result: Findings from this study helped Plan-it confirm the potential for the new technology and determine key information/messaging areas critical to driving interest in the product among the target audiences. Today, Bluefish is the fastest growing smartcard supplier in the world.
