Major International Agricultural Processor: Re-Aligning International Sales Strategy
Challenge: Plan-it worked with a major international agricultural processor to develop a plan for growth and build a competitive advantage.
Objective: To help develop sales and service strategies to differentiate the company from competitors, and ultimately motivate its customers to increase the volume of product allocated to it.
Solution: Plan-it utilized a two-phase approach, including a combination of in-depth interviews among internal company managers, employees and current customers across several countries to provide both an internal and external perspective on the industry, including attitudes and needs of customers.
Result: Plan-it recommended a new strategy for sales and communications to clarify a consistent brand image to its distributors and provided guidance for developing tools to more efficiently meet customer needs, as well as improve employees’ knowledge and skill set.
